Salary: MPS - Paid to Scale from Day One

We are delighted to be recruiting a Primary SEN Teacher to join a brand-new Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) unit in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting new provision designed to support pupils with autism and speech & language needs, including non‑verbal learners, in a nurturing and structured environment.

The Role

As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver highly personalised and engaging lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
  • Support pupils with ASC and complex communication difficulties
  • Implement specialist strategies to promote learning, communication, and independence
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN professionals, and families
  • Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where pupils can thrive
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Has experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly autism and speech & language needs (desirable)
  • Demonstrates strong skills in differentiation and personalised learning
  • Is patient, resilient, and passionate about inclusive education
  • Has excellent communication skills and works well as part of a team
