As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small intervention groups.
Encourage children to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
Provide additional support for pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND where appropriate.
Help prepare classroom resources and maintain an organised learning environment.
Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' social and emotional development.
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents to ensure every child reaches their potential.
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working with children in a primary school, nursery or educational setting.
Is patient, caring and passionate about supporting young learners.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
Is reliable, adaptable and able to work using their own initiative.
Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
