TeacherActive is assisting a Derbyshire & Chesterfield primary school in recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a long-term role. The successful candidate will support pupils across Key Stage 1 and 2, collaborating with teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences and promote positive behaviour.

An active DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one is required. The school offers an engaging learning environment with outstanding facilities and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a UK Primary School.
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
• A positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across Key Stage 1 and 2 with engaging learning activities.
• Work closely with class teachers to deliver lessons and targeted support.
• Promote positive behaviour and an engaging classroom environment.

The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis with a flexible start date. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences, promote positive behaviour and provide targeted support to help pupils reach their full potential.
