Job summary

AMA Admin is seeking a Qualified Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Worksop. The role is full-time, September start, long-term with potential permanent placement.

Responsibilities include supporting lessons, 1:1 and small group work, and providing interventions for phonics, reading, writing, and maths. A Level 2/3 TA qualification and UK primary school experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Recent experience working within a UK primary school.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.

Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Worksop that is looking to appoint a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

The Role

As a Qualified Teaching Assistant, you will:

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting children with SEND (desirable).

  • Demonstrates excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

  • Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to helping every child succeed.

Essential Requirements
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

  • Recent experience working within a UK primary school.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
