A healthcare organization in Wales is seeking a Primary Care Dental Practice Adviser to provide expert advice on dental practice matters. This role will involve collaboration with various health authorities and support for dental practices in achieving compliance and improving standards. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and be registered with the General Dental Council, with at least five years of experience in the field. This position offers an opportunity to positively impact dental care in the community.

To provide professional advice and support to the Health Board in relation to Primary Care Dental Care matters. The role will involve working with primary care colleagues, Healthcare Inspectorate Wales, Public Health Wales and 53 dental practices. English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
The post holder will agree with the Health Board core sessions each week to undertake their DPA activity, however flexibility within this will be required for attendance at required meetings and practice visits. It may be necessary to work evenings to liaise with dental practitioners.
There will be a requirement to maintain involvement in the dental professional network of the PHW Dental Governance Team and all Welsh Government defined networks.
