A leading freight forwarding company in the UK is seeking a Pricing Specialist to negotiate rates and prepare customer quotations. You will work closely with carriers and manage customer communications while ensuring the highest level of service. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in ocean freight and excellent analytical and numerical skills. The position is office-based with a schedule from Monday to Friday, offering a salary starting from £32k plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in negotiating rates with carriers and preparing customer quotations.
• Able to work under pressure and meet fixed deadlines.
• Knowledge of operational aspects of Ocean freight.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with carriers, hauliers, and suppliers.
• Prepare and submit customer quotations and proposals in a timely manner.
• Issue quotations through the in-house system.
• Communicate with customers regarding quotes.
• Adjust pricing to secure opportunities.
• Provide high-level customer service.
