Job description
Senior Presales Data & AI Architect

In this customer-facing role, you will work closely with Sales, Portfolio, and Delivery teams to design intelligent, data-driven solutions that help customers leverage data, analytics, and AI to transform operations, accelerate innovation, and improve decision-making.

The role combines data architecture, AI system design, and solution strategy, focusing on AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) and agentic AI within managed service environments. You will define architectures integrating data platforms, AI models, and autonomous agent frameworks to enable scalable, secure, and ethical AI deployments across industries.

As a trusted advisor, you will guide customers in modernising their data ecosystems and operationalising AI through governed, repeatable, and measurable service.

Where purpose meets career:
  • Continuous learning and exposure to innovative solutions: Work with a diverse portfolio of customers across multiple industries, tackling challenging data and AI initiatives, and applying your expertise across a variety of technologies, environments, and business contexts. This variety ensures continuous learning and exposure to innovative solutions.
  • High-impact, market-facing role in Data, AI, and modern infrastructure, one of the fastest-growing areas in technology. You will influence strategic decisions, shape innovative solutions, and deliver measurable business outcomes, making a tangible difference for both clients and the organisation.
  • Flexible, remote-first role with occasional travel, offering autonomy and the ability to manage your own schedule while staying connected with clients and cross-functional teams. Ideal for self-starters who thrive in an independent, high-responsibility environment.
Skills we can’t do without:
  • Professional experience of at least 5 years in data architecture, analytics, or AI solution design, ideally within presales or consulting, with deep expertise in data platforms, governance, and AI/ML system design.
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI-as-a-Service and AI platform solutions in hybrid or managed service environments, including familiarity with agentic AI systems, multi-agent orchestration, and AI lifecycle frameworks (MLOps, LLMOps, DataOps).
  • Proven presales experience with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to articulate complex technical solutions, integrate cloud-native AI services and open frameworks (MLflow, LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs), and ensure ethical, compliant AI deployments in regulated industries.
Educational Background and Qualifications:
  • Educational Qualifications: Degree-qualified in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related technical discipline.
  • Professional certifications in data, AI, or architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, DAMA, Azure/AWS/GCP AI) are desirable.
  • Pension Scheme - contributions matched up to 10%
  • Private medical cover
  • Income Protection
  • Life Assurance
  • 25 days paid leave + National Holidays
  • Flex benefits program
