Job summary

The Fears Watch Company is seeking a committed Watch Assembly Technician to join the Operations Department in Bristol. You will assemble watches, help run and maintain the workshop, build kits, manage component stock and perform quality control.

Hours are 9am–6pm, Monday–Friday (40 hours). Reporting to the Operations Manager, with commencement late August and some flexibility in start date. Experience in luxury watch assembly is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assembly Watchmaker or Repair Technician working on luxury watches is essential.
• WOSTEP / BHI diploma or certification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Timely and efficient assembly of watches in line with quality standards.
• Compile build kits of components and record stock transfers.
• Ensure smooth assembly according to schedule and maintain a tidy workshop.
• Quality control of components and final watches to minimise defects.
• Test movements and case water resistance; final regulation to spec.
• Maintain stock records and communicate needs to Operations.
