Job summary

GoodWe is seeking a Solution Engineer for the UK & Ireland to support pre-sales activities and conduct customer trainings, both face-to-face and online. You will represent GoodWe at exhibitions and local events, working with distributors and EPC partners.

You will collaborate with sales, marketing and product management to align market needs with product strategy, with up to 30% travel to customer sites and events across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or similar.
• Experience in technical support with direct customer interaction.
• Business fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
• Exposure to solar PV, inverter, energy storage or utility industry.
• Passion for growth and renewable energies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex topics simply.
• Analytical mindset.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and managing GoodWe’s pre-sales activities in UK & Ireland.
• Growing customer trust in GoodWe’s solution.
• Promoting GoodWe’s products and increasing demand from installers to distributors.
• Ensuring closeness to the market through customer trainings and distributor events.
• Building knowledge of market requirements for PV and storage systems including product specs, system design, certification, etc.
• Transferring market requirements to product management and R&D to keep GoodWe ahead of competition.
• Ensuring feasibility of product solutions before market release, coordinating and assisting with beta testing and pilot projects.
