Job Description

Our client is a well‑respected water treatment / legionella and pre‑commissioning services provider to clients throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for a professional and experienced Pre‑Commissioning Engineer based in and around the Brentford area. The ideal applicant will come from a strong water treatment background and will be experienced in carrying out pre‑commissioning cleaning duties to BSRIA standards. Consideration will be given to applications from Harrow, Hayes, Twickenham, Mitcham and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record working within a Pre‑Commissioning / Flushing engineer role.
• Experience undertaking pre‑commissioning cleans to BSRIA standard.
• Background in water treatment, chemistry, technical, maintenance, education, supervisory, or plumbing.
• Strong communication, organisation, client‑facing, people‑management and IT skills.
• Hands‑on experience in water treatment engineering.

Key Role

• Supervise and collaborate with contractors, operatives and maintenance suppliers.
• Supervise installation systems and commissioning.
• Carry out pre‑commissioning cleaning on systems according to BSRIA standards.
• Ensure flow rates and complete flushing works.
• Dose – CHW and LTHW systems and washing systems.
• Perform chemical and tank cleans.
• Carry out chlorination and disinfection works in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines and comply with Health & Safety procedures.
• Collate and produce accurate reports and schematic drawings.
• Ensure all work complies with ACOP (8) guidelines.
• Build and maintain good rapport with the company’s key clients.
• Prioritise workload and deal with issues effectively and promptly.
• Keep a record of all work carried out using the database.
