A large medical practice in the United Kingdom is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join its Reception team at Barley and Market Hill sites. The part-time role involves assisting patients, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring a positive experience. Successful candidates will exhibit strong IT skills, a positive demeanor, and the ability to work well under pressure. This position also entails handling sensitive information and requires a DBS check.
Monday - 8.30am-6pm (1/2 hour lunch) - Market Hill
Tuesday - 8.30am-2.30pm - Barley
Wednesday - 8.30am-5pm (1/2 hour lunch) - Market Hill
Friday - 8.30am-2.30pm - Barley
Full training will be given.

The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken may include any or all of the items in the following list. Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the Head of Operations/Reception Manager, dependent on current and evolving practice workload and staffing levels:

We are a large Medical Practice with sites based in Linton, Sawston, Royston, Barley and Shelford and are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Reception team at our Barley and Market Hill sites.
Job Summary:
Offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone
Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way
Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team
Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies
