Job summary

St Peter's Medical Centre is seeking a part-time Practice Nurse to join our nursing team in the heart of the city. You will support a diverse patient population across a wide range of clinical duties, including immunisations, chronic disease management, and health promotion.

The role works within a multi-disciplinary team and requires autonomous practice, adherence to clinical policies, and active involvement in audits and training.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current UK professional registration (NMC).
• Broad knowledge of general practice and chronic disease management.
• Experience working autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support IPC lead and follow IPC policy.
• Assess patient needs and plan care.
• Contribute to long-term condition management and quality initiatives.
• Deliver nursing care in line with NICE guidance and NSF.
• Lead public health programmes including immunisations and screenings.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to governance.
