Job summary

New Southgate Surgery in Wakefield is seeking a highly motivated part-time Practice Nurse to join our busy team for 23 hours per week. The role requires good interpersonal and communication skills, and days must include Thursday and Friday.

Qualifications

• Part-time role in primary care with 23 hours/week.
• Must include Thursday and Friday.
• Current UK NMC registration (RGN) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment and health advice in line with protocols; work with GPs.
• Deliver asthma and chronic disease management; wound care and immunisations as needed.
• Contribute to clinics such as travel health and cytology under supervision.
