Overview

We are based at The Jalal Practice at the ICC in Oldham and also at Lees Medical Practice in Lees Oldham."

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including conducting physical examinations and assessments
• QOF/PCIS administration
• Administer vaccinations for adults and children
• Assist with other medical interventions
• Carry out cytology work with smear taking
• Monitor patients' vital signs and document patient information accurately
• Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and self-care techniques
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license
• Proven experience as a Practice Nurse
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Excellent patient care skills with compassionate and empathetic approach
• Proficient in using electronic medical record systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a smear taker and proficient in travel vaccinations, respiratory clinics, diabetes and adult/childhood immunisations
