Job summary

A healthcare organization in the UK seeks a dedicated nursing professional to provide routine nursing care, administer immunisations, and support clinical emergencies. This role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records and liaising with external bodies to ensure vulnerable patients are adequately supported. Responsibilities

  • Provide routine nursing care to patients as required.
  • Provide basic wound care (ulcer/Doppler) to patients.
  • Provide immunisations for children and adults.
  • Request pathology services as necessary and process results.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and use read codes effectively.
  • Support the team in dealing with clinical emergencies.
  • Recognise, assess, and refer patients with mental health needs.
  • Implement vaccination programmes for adults and children.
  • Liaise with external bodies for patient support.
  • Support the clinical team with safeguarding matters.
Job description

Provide routine nursing care to patients as required in accordance with clinical based evidence b.

Provide basic wound care (ulcer /Doppler etc.) to patients c.

Provide immunisations (child and adult) d.

Request pathology services as necessary and Process results as required e.

Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure read codes and templates are used effectively f.

Support the team in dealing with clinical emergencies g.

Recognise, assess and refer patients presenting with mental health needs h.

Implement vaccination programmes for adults and children i.

Liaise with external bodies to ensure patients are supported appropriately (vulnerable patients etc.) j.

Support the clinical team with all safeguarding matters, in accordance with local and national policies k.

Understand practice and local policies for substance abuse and addictive behaviour, referring patients appropriately
