Job summary

mydentist's Newark Practice is seeking a Practice Manager to lead daily operations, drive performance, and deliver excellent patient care. You will manage a team of dental nurses and receptionists, oversee budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance within a supportive, national dental network.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a healthcare or dental practice is preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Budgeting and financial management experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive practice performance by meeting financial targets and delivering outstanding patient care.
• Lead a team of practice staff, including dental nurses and receptionists, and manage clinician contracts.
• Ensure compliance with regulator requirements and internal policies.
• Interpret financial data (P&L) to support commercial decisions.

As a Practice Manager, you’ll be:

• Driving your practice’s performance with set objectives, including prov@iding outstanding patient care, meeting financial targets, and managing budgets
• Leading a team of practice support employees, including dental nurses and receptionists, and engaging with self-employed clinicians whilst you manage the contractual relationship
• Managing compliance and meeting the requirements of our regulators
• Interpreting financial data including profit and loss accounts to make commercial decisions
