mydentist in Andover is hiring a Practice Manager to lead a busy mixed NHS and private practice. You’ll oversee daily operations, drive patient care excellence, and steer the practice towards financial goals.

This role involves team leadership, budget management, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will bring strong management experience, be able to analyse profit and loss data, and lead a supportive, patient‑focussed team in a collaborative environment.

Your future, your role

As a Practice Manager, you’ll be:

• Driving your practice’s performance with set objectives, including providing outstanding patient care, meeting financial targets, and managing budgets
• Leading a team of practice support employees, including dental nurses and receptionists, and engaging with self-employed clinicians whilst you manage the contractual relationship
• Managing compliance and meeting the requirements of our regulators
• Interpreting financial data including profit and loss accounts to make commercial decisions

Experience:

• Management experience, including People management and managing P & L
• Open to all Management backgrounds such as retail, healthcare and hospitality
• Experience in driving KPI's and increasing profit margins

Skills/Person Specification:

• Excellent interpersonal skills to manage key stakeholder relationships
• Excellent organisational skills including prioritising important deadlines whilst managing reactive business needs
• Business acumen – analyse data including profit and loss account to make problem solving commercial decisions
• Demonstrates the ability to lead a team, coach and develop people
• Demonstrates flexibility
• Demonstrates a ‘can-do’ attitude – advocating and championing change
