A leading healthcare institution in the UK is seeking a Practice Educator for the North Thames Genomic Medicine Service. This role involves developing and implementing training programs for the genomics laboratory workforce, with a focus on healthcare science education. The North Thames Genomic Medicine Service (NT GMS) is looking for a practice educator to join our team. We are open to applicants from scientific, technologist and bioinformatics backgrounds. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract and there is the potential for a secondment opportunity. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver education and training for the genomics laboratory workforce, ensuring a sustainable, collaborative, and supportive approach across our laboratories. The post holder will work closely with the Genomics Training Academy (GTAC) and other stakeholders to develop and implement high‑quality training programmes and resources. While the primary focus will be on the laboratory workforce, you will also collaborate on initiatives to support education and development for other members of the GMS workforce where appropriate. This is a unique chance to influence workforce development in a rapidly evolving field, supporting staff to deliver high‑quality genomic testing and services that transform patient care.
