About the role

As PR Manager for Disney Store, you will develop and execute integrated communications plans that strengthen awareness and affinity for Disney's e-commerce sites and The Disney Store across the UK and EMEA.

You’ll lead the day‑to‑day development and delivery of creative, insight‑driven communications campaigns, working closely with Disney Consumer Products and partners across marketing, social and global communications. Your role is essential in widening the media appeal of Disney Store and ensuring EMEA‑driven campaigns connect with local and international audiences.

You will collaborate extensively with global colleagues, share best practices across the EMEA communications community, and champion inclusive, creative storytelling that reflects Disney's values.

This role is based in our Hammersmith office four days per week, with flexibility to work from home on Monday or Friday. This is a Fixed‑Term Contract position, running until September 2026.

What You Will Do
Communications Plans and Events
  • Plan and oversee integrated campaigns that drive brand awareness and business performance for Disney‑owned e‑commerce and Stores.
  • Present campaign plans to stakeholders, ensuring PR activity is maximised and aligned with marketing.
  • Anticipate and elevate potential issues, offering strategic solutions to minimise risk.
  • Advise on issues management and crisis communications, providing timely, strategic counsel.
  • Write and review campaign assets, including localised global materials such as press releases and key messaging.
  • Track, maintain and manage campaign budgets effectively.
  • Brief, secure and manage third‑party agencies to deliver against agreed workstreams.
Media and Influencer Relations
  • Engage media and influencers to secure coverage across key themes, ranges and campaign moments.
  • Maintain and grow strong media and influencer relationships, identifying ongoing opportunities.
  • Deliver consistent publicity across priority media verticals to drive awareness and affinity for Disney Store.
  • Create compelling materials that support coverage and set high standards within the team.
  • Ensure seasonal campaigns feed into the media agenda and integrate with wider marketing plans.
General
  • Manage day‑to‑day work with third‑party agencies to support campaign delivery.
  • Share PR updates with the broader DCP EMEA communications team and in‑market contacts.
  • Partner with global owned retail communications colleagues to ensure EMEA activity ladders into international plans.
  • Build strong relationships and provide strategic PR counsel to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on industry and media trends, identifying strategic opportunities for PR and events.
  • Support issues management planning, including drafting statements and monitoring brand risk.
  • Lead meetings, presentations and ideation sessions to inspire creative thinking and PR opportunities.
  • Support owned social channels from a PR perspective to ensure consistent, engaging messaging.
  • Produce comprehensive reporting for executive teams and stakeholders on PR impact.
Experience and Role Requirements
  • Degree‑level education in a related field or equivalent work experience within the relevant industry.
  • Proven track record of developing creative campaigns across different media and generating PR opportunities.
  • Experience planning, executing and evaluating innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Strong network of PR and global contacts.
  • Deep media knowledge across a range of markets and ability to produce effective media plans.
  • Experience managing teams, including coaching, mentoring and motivating.
  • Ability to create and execute high‑impact PR campaigns from conception to delivery.
  • Excellent relationship management with external agencies and partners.
  • Commercial awareness and budget management skills.
  • Understanding of legal guidelines and brand profile across different markets.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote).
  • Fluent English (essential); other European languages (beneficial).
  • Flexibility for occasional UK, European or international travel as required.
  • Willingness to contribute to ad hoc projects and flex hours to meet business needs.
