Overview

We’re working with a large hospitality brand with a strong heritage and a focus on people and culture. They are looking for a PR Executive to join the team.

The Role

Reporting into the PR Lead, you’ll help draft engaging content and generate positive headlines in local, regional and national media, as well as on social media. You’ll work closely with journalists and influencers, from research through to writing and issuing press releases, features, editorial content, advertorials and spokesperson quotes, and handling crisis situations. You will build strong relationships with journalists and influencers, manage media events and press/influencer visits, and contribute to shaping the influencer marketing strategy moving forward.

You

You’ll have 1-2 years’ PR experience, either in an agency or inhouse team. You’ll be a talented writer, able to turn your hand to press releases, features, editorial and advertorial content. You will be an excellent communicator and relationship builder with experience in media and influencer liaison to pitch stories and secure coverage. Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects across multiple parts of the brand. Any previous experience in hospitality or leisure PR, or working in the sector during education, would be an advantage. Given the location of the head office and sites, you’ll need a driving licence and access to transport.
