Techtronic Industries, a global leader in cordless technology, seeks a Field Based Business Development Manager to drive PPE and Workwear growth across the full island of Ireland and the UK. The role focuses on opening new opportunities, building strong customer relationships and developing territory strategy to meet growth targets.

Candidate must have 2+ years in PPE sales, knowledge of Milwaukee products, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualificações

• Must have a minimum of 2 years working within the PPE sector with a proven track record in business development achieving targets with strong emphasis on end user/commercial sales.
• An understanding of the Milwaukee product market and ability to build that knowledge into business objectives to help achieve growth.
• Relevant Sales and Marketing Qualification desirable
• Relevant BSIF Qualification desirable
• Strong selling and negotiation skills to help build business relations and to further grow/strengthen these to develop market share and profitability
• Passion and enthusiasm for the Milwaukee brand
• Ability to work closely with colleagues to achieve personal, team and company targets
• Sound product knowledge and commitment to excellent customer service
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong planning and territory development skills
• Good IT skills (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) to analyse and report data to the management team to aid with territory evaluations and to create appropriate presentations for customers in the marketplace.
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions, corporate and key trade association events
• Effective time management skills with ability to work with minimal supervision
• UK travel and occasional European travel will be required
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement Milwaukee growth strategy across defined territory.
• Identify potential prospect customers and penetrate pipeline growth.
• Plan promotions and product range development to drive turnover.
• Maintain annual business plans aligned with unit strategy.
• Forecast turnover with monthly updates for management.
• Communicate with management, finance, logistics, marketing, product development and customer services.
• Explore alternative distribution channels to grow PPE and Workwear segments in the UK.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by Line Manager.
