Job summary

A leading education supply agency in the UK is seeking confident and professional Primary teachers to cover PPA in primary schools across Swansea on a supply basis. This role involves covering PPA sessions in various primary classes while providing additional support for children with additional learning needs (ALN). The ideal candidate will have QTS in the UK and relevant experience in primary education. Daily rates, social events, and professional development opportunities are offered, along with access to a dedicated consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Cover PPA sessions across a mix of classes within the Foundation Phase and KS2.
  • Provide additional support for children with ALN when needed.

Job description

Vision for Education are looking to recruit confident and professional Primary teachers to cover PPA in primary school across Swansea on a supply basis. This is a role where you will be covering PPA sessions across a mix of classes within the Foundation Phase and KS2. Some children may have ALN and would be working at a lower ability and therefore will require some additional support. The majority of the classes will offer a TA. All of the positions we have to offer are on a temporary basis and so we can work around your availability.

Requirements
  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with ALN
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • QTS within the UK
