Job summary

Thames Water invites applications for a Maintenance Manager to lead delivery and quality assurance of maintenance for auxiliary power supplies and related assets, ensuring readiness to respond to outages and emergencies. You will strengthen resilience today while building internal capability for the future.

Base locations include Hampton Coal Wharf or Reading, with a Hybrid - 36 Hours per week pattern (Mon–Fri).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance, testing and quality assurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• IT literacy including maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a team of professionals, delivering outcomes and growing internal capability.
• Oversee maintenance and quality assurance for auxiliary power supplies and assets, ensuring compliance and reliability.
• Standardise inspection practices and ensure asset testing governance is effective and compliant.
• Manage planning and budgets, contributing to policies and best practice in maintenance.
• Provide proven leadership and collaborative cross-functional coordination with contractors.
