Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Battery and Generator Maintenance Team Leader to oversee maintenance of critical standby power assets and contractor delivery across our power resilience program. You will lead performance across assets, conduct site audits and identify opportunities to enhance resilience and ways of working within Thames Water.

Location can be flexible for London or Thames Valley, with a 36-hour week (Mon-Fri).

Qualifications

• Experience managing contractor delivery within engineering, mechanical or utilities environments.
• Experience overseeing planned work, managing budgets and ensuring compliance.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external contractors while building strong working relationships.

• Oversee contractor performance to meet safety, compliance and budget standards.
• Ensure maintenance activities are delivered to agreed standards and timelines.
• Audit sites and drive continuous improvement across resilience processes.
