Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Battery and Generator Contract Supervisor to ensure on-site power assets are ready by coordinating contractor teams delivering maintenance services. Your role will focus on safety, quality and resilience objectives as you identify risks and escalate issues as needed.

Location can be flexible across London or Thames Valley; the role is 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a strong emphasis on compliance and collaborative problem solving to support reliable services.

Qualifications

• Supervise contractor teams delivering maintenance, ensuring safety and quality.
• Understand maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Experience in quality checking, compliance monitoring and escalation.
• Desirable qualifications in contract/asset management.

Responsibilities

• Quality and Compliance: check quality of completed maintenance work and ensure safety standards.
• Contractor Oversight and Support: guide contractor teams and drive high performance.
• Problem Solving: use analysis to resolve issues and optimise resources.
• Communication and Stakeholder Coordination: liaise with contractors and stakeholders for on-site delivery.
