Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking a Battery and Generator Contract Supervisor to lead the day-to-day supervision of contractor teams, ensuring power assets are maintained safely and to high standards. The role supports resilience across multiple sites, with a flexible base in London/Thames Valley and a 36-hour week.

Responsibilities include overseeing contractor activities, maintaining records, and escalating issues when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising contractor teams in mechanical engineering and/or maintenance.
• Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Demonstrable experience in quality checking and compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Quality and Compliance: check quality of completed maintenance work and ensure safety standards.
• Contractor Oversight: provide guidance to contractor teams for high performance.
• Problem Solving: use judgement to resolve issues and optimise resources.
• Stakeholder coordination: communicate with contractors and colleagues to support on-site delivery.
