Overview

Delivery Postie with Driving — Job reference: 334547. Location: Birmingham; Coleshill Delivery Office, B46 3BT. Job type: Permanent. Hours: 30 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday to Sunday with 2 days off, 08:00 to 14:30. Due to operational demand, you will be required to work weekends. Sunday working may be required with shift timing 09:30 to 15:30.

What you’ll do

As a Delivery Postie, you will:

  • Deliver mail and parcels to customers in your local community.
  • Walk and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Provide excellent customer service as a friendly public-facing representative.
  • Uphold safety, accuracy and efficiency in daily delivery routes.

  • Salary: a guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours)
  • Overtime: paid at enhanced rate of 1.25x for hours over 40 per week

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-40 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
