Job summary

A prestigious research institution is seeking a Research Associate to lead the development of advanced multi-modal MRI foundation models. This full-time role focuses on integrating imaging data with radiology reports to enhance diagnostic workflows in clinical settings. Candidates should have a PhD (or be near completion) and expertise in multi-modal deep learning techniques, particularly in medical domains. The position offers a salary of £45,031 - £52,514 per annum, including London Weighting Allowance, with a contract starting from January 2026.

Qualifications

  • PhD qualified in a relevant subject area (or pending results/near completion).
  • Experience with multi-modal models in medical domains.
  • Knowledge of MRI data formats and image preprocessing tools.
  • Excellent programming skills, demonstrated through code or projects.
  • Experience handling large medical datasets.
  • Understanding of radiology workflows and report structures.
