Band 2 - £12.51/hr
37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Pharmacy Porter to join the Pharmacy team at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. This role plays a vital part in supporting patient care by ensuring the safe and timely collection and delivery of medications across the hospital site.

This is a non-registrable role with no clinical activities involved. You will be working on foot, using a trolley to transport medicines between the pharmacy and wards/departments.

Key Duties
  • Collecting and delivering medication to wards and clinical areas
  • Transporting medicines safely and securely using a trolley
  • Following set routes and schedules to meet delivery times
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and collections
  • Working closely with the pharmacy team and ward staff to ensure smooth service

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, punctual, and organised
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable with walking and manual handling (pushing a trolley) for long periods
