Job summary

P&O Ferries in Cairnryan is seeking a Customer Operations Assistant to support the management team in delivering a cost effective, customer focused check in and disembarkation service for tourist and freight customers. The role requires teamwork, a focus on safety, and strong IT literacy (Outlook/Teams).

You will work across all areas of Customer Operations, ensuring high service standards and adherence to security policies.

Qualifications

Have customer service experience.
Manage to work as part of a team and on their own.
Understanding of IT systems such as Microsoft Outlook/Teams.
Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
Experience operating within a safety-critical environment.
Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

To check in and process customers coming through the port.
Release and out gate traffic.
To provide a high standard of customer service to our customers.
To ensure the safety of yourself and others in the port.
To report any breaches or suspected breaches of security.
Ensure personal behaviour promotes culture change and reflects the values of the business.
