Job summary

Serco Limited is recruiting a Customer Service Assistant to support NorthLink Ferries at Aberdeen. You will handle reservations, check-in, and boarding while delivering friendly, proactive service to passengers.

You'll operate within Health, Safety and Environment guidelines and use computer systems to help run the terminal smoothly. The role offers development opportunities across a global service-oriented organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience working within the Travel and Tourism sector.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with the public.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Make customer reservations by telephone, email and in person.
• Assist with check in and boarding processes.
• Provide clear, friendly and proactive service to all passengers.
• Follow Health, Safety and Environment policies.
• Use phone and computer systems confidently.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the terminal as part of a team.
