At All Stars Out of School Club Ilford, we provide a safe, happy and relaxed environment where children aged 5-11 years can unwind, play and have fun outside the school day. Our club values children’s choices, creativity and friendships, and we believe play should be child‑led, inclusive and enjoyable. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Playworker who brings energy, warmth and a positive attitude — someone who enjoys supporting children’s play and being part of a friendly, supportive team.
As a Playworker, you’ll support the day‑to‑day running of the club by helping create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for children. You’ll work alongside the team to supervise play, encourage positive behaviour, support children’s wellbeing and ensure safeguarding and health & safety requirements are met at all times. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and understands the importance of play.
Please note: Playworkers may be unqualified or qualified. All staff must be suitably experienced and supervised in line with Ofsted requirements.

You’ll have opportunities to gain qualifications, develop your skills and progress within the setting — all while helping children enjoy their time before and after school as well as during the school holidays.
All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy.
If applicant doesn’t have DBS we will run a check through the company system and deduct fee from first wage.
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained.
