Job summary

A leading employment services provider is seeking a Planning Officer for a hybrid role in Bury. The successful candidate will handle scheduling and planning tasks for the repairs department, ensuring work distribution aligns with priorities. Required are at least 1 year of experience in QL and DRS, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. This is a full-time, temporary contract offering £20.98 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Schedule works orders in line with repairs priorities.
  • Raise works orders and allocate jobs to operatives and contractors.
  • Monitor changes to workload and resources to ensure timely completion.

Planning Officer (Hybrid) neededin Bury, £20.98ph PAYE – Reference : 0009 EE4A / 1

Candidates are required to carry out planning tasks for our repairs department.

You will ideally have –
  • QL – 1 year experience
  • DRS – 1 year experience
  • Experience / knowledge in Microsoft packages . Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook
You will be expected to come into the office as required.
  • To schedule works orders in-line with repairs priorities ensuring agreed targets are met through effective work distribution and scheduling, taking corrective, timely action where necessary when rearranging appointments.
  • To raise works orders and allocate jobs to operatives, sub-contractors and partners, ensuring good performance is maintained at all times.
  • Monitoring changes to the workload and available resources in real time to identify and implement effective action to ensure work is completed on time.

This is working full time hours on temporary contract.
