Harvey Nash is now recruiting for a Planning and Reporting Accountant, for an initial 3 month contract.

  • Umbrella only
  • Hybrid to Edinburgh
  • Public Sector/Disclosure Scotland required
  • Starting early 2026

The role will involve consolidation, reconciliation and reaching out to Finance and non-Finance staff to resolve/confirm issues identified. Candidates must be strong in working with excel and can work with large volumes of data.

Criteria for the role:
  • Qualified Accountant
  • In-depth knowledge of standard Microsoft software packages, (eg 365, Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Public sector experience is preferred.
  • Relevant experience within a complex organisation with demonstrable experience of delivering financial management advice and guidance to stakeholders at all levels.
