Job summary

A leading engineering solutions provider is recruiting a talented Planner in Worcester. The successful candidate will take responsibility for all planning and programme requirements across projects, assisting the Project Manager and contributing to the entire project lifecycle. Candidates should have proven project planning experience, detailed knowledge of planning software like Primavera P6, and experience working with NEC 4 contracts. A degree or equivalent qualification is required, and a valid UK driving licence is essential.

VolkerLaser repairs, strengthens and waterproofs concrete and steel structures, offering a tailored package of specialist works to clients across the UK. Our structural solutions include bridge deck waterproofing, expansion joints, concrete repair and cathodic protection works, steel repair and strengthening work, carbon fibre and temporary works, jacking and bearing replacement.

We are recruiting a talented Planner who can take full responsibility for all planning and programme requirements across our projects.

In this role, you will assist the Project Manager in managing all planning and programme aspects while contributing to the development of a methodology covering the entire project lifecycle.

Location: Role can be based from our West Midlands or North East office locations About you Proven project planning experience Detailed knowledge of using planning software such as Primavera P6 Experience providing planning input and support for tenders and pre‑construction activities.
