A leading infrastructure solutions company in Greater Manchester is seeking a Planning Engineer to develop and manage project programmes. This role involves building cost-loaded plans, interfacing with project controls, and ensuring delivery optimization. The ideal candidate should have experience in Primavera (P6) and be qualified in a planning discipline. This position combines office-based work with travel to various sites, offering a hybrid working arrangement.
As a Planning Engineer you will be a fundamental part of the team, working with stakeholders to develop and manage programmes, completing updates and reporting both internally and externally.
The successful applicant will firstly work with the QS team to cost load the existing programme of works. Following acceptance of the programme, the role will transition to working and managing subcontractor plans, ensuring updates are fed into the overall programme.
The successful applicant will be required to work at least 3 days per week from either the Costain Manchester Office or Trawsfynydd Site with travel required between the two.
