Stantec is seeking a Pipeline Civil Engineer to deliver technical engineering across the full lifecycle of major pipeline projects in the UK and beyond, within the Pipe Technology Group. You will apply design methods, material selection, thrust restraint, trenchless technologies, and use CAESAR II for analysis, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering with Chartered or Incorporated status (ICE/CIWEM or equivalent).
• Experience across pipeline disciplines including buried-pipeline structural design and thrust restraint.
• Familiarity with pipeline rehabilitation, trenchless design, failure assessments, or piping analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical engineering across the full lifecycle of major pipeline projects.
• Oversee material selection, structural design of buried pipelines, thrust restraint, and trenchless technologies.
• Lead condition and failure assessments to extend asset life across networks.
• Contribute to project proposals and high-level technical reports; support research initiatives with industry bodies.
