Job summary

Stantec in the United Kingdom is seeking a Pipeline Civil Engineer to join our Pipe Technology Group, delivering critical water infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally. You will provide technical engineering across the full lifecycle of major pipeline projects, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

You will apply advanced pipeline analysis, contribute to rehabilitation and trenchless design, and drive proposals and technical reports to support asset life

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline with Chartered or Incorporated status or actively working toward registration.
• Proven experience across pipeline disciplines: structural design of buried pipelines, thrust restraint, trunk mains, materials.
• Familiarity with pipeline rehabilitation, trenchless design principles, failure assessments, or piping analysis software such as CAESAR II.
• Excellent proposal and report-writing skills with ability to liaise with multidisciplinary peers, clients, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering across the full lifecycle of major pipeline projects.
• Oversee material selection and structural design of buried pipelines.
• Lead rehabilitation options, trenchless solutions, and asset life extension studies.
• Contribute to project proposals and produce high-level technical reports.
