Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Pipeline Civil Engineer to join the Pipe Technology Group and deliver critical water infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally.

You will oversee technical deliverables from material selection to buried pipeline design, including thrust restraint and trenchless technologies, working directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams. You will apply advanced pipeline analysis tools, evaluate rehabilitation options, and lead

Qualifications

• Degree and chartered or near-chartership in civil/water engineering.
• Experience across key pipeline disciplines including buried pipeline design and trunk main design.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation, trenchless design, failure assessments or piping analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering across the full lifecycle of major pipeline projects.
• Oversee material selection, structural design of buried pipelines, thrust restraint and trenchless technologies.
• Apply advanced pipeline analysis tools and evaluate rehabilitation options.
• Lead condition and failure assessments to extend asset life across networks.
• Contribute to proposals and produce high-level technical reports.
• Support research initiatives with industry bodies (UKWIR, CIRIA).
