Job summary
Stantec is seeking a Pipeline Civil Engineer to deliver technical engineering across the full lifecycle of major water infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally. You will collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to produce design deliverables for buried pipelines, rehabilitation options, and trenchless solutions.
The role focuses on applying advanced analysis tools, leading condition assessments, and contributing to project proposals and technical reports.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline with Chartered or Incorporated status (ICE/CIWEM or equivalent).
- Experience across key pipeline disciplines: structural design of buried pipelines, thrust restraint, trunk main design, pipe materials.
- Familiarity with pipeline rehabilitation, trenchless design principles, failure assessments, piping analysis software such as CAESAR II.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical engineering across the full lifecycle of major pipeline projects.
- Oversee and execute technical deliverables including design and analysis.
- Contribute to proposals and produce high‑level technical reports.
- Lead condition and failure assessments to extend asset life.
