Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Pipeline Civil Engineer to deliver critical water infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally. You will lead technical deliverables across the lifecycle of major pipelines, including material selection, buried pipeline design, and rehabilitation options.

You will work with clients and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to proposals and high-level technical reports, while maintaining a focus on innovation and sustainable solutions for future water networks.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline with Chartered or Incorporated status (or working toward registration).
• Experience across pipeline disciplines including buried pipelines design and rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with pipeline analysis software and standards (e.g., BS EN 1295-1, CIRIA).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering across the full lifecycle of major pipeline projects.
• Oversee and execute technical deliverables including material selection and design.
• Contribute to proposals, reports, and research initiatives with industry bodies.
• Lead condition and failure assessments to extend asset life across networks.
