Job summary

A major healthcare provider in Bristol is seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join the Rheumatology and MSK teams. The role requires managing long-term conditions and participating in multi-disciplinary teamwork. Key responsibilities include assessing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and mentoring junior team members. Experience in rheumatology as well as strong communication and therapeutic skills are essential. Position is fixed-term until 31st October, with a 4-day work pattern and some weekend responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in rheumatology and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Ability to provide self-management strategies for patients.
• Knowledge of hydrotherapy techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients with long-term conditions providing therapeutic care.
• Assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions referred from various services.
• Participate in patient education and exercise groups.
