MaineHealth Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME, is recruiting for a Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our Critical Care team. This is a Per Diem position.
The PA or ACNP will perform daily rounds with a team of fellows, residents, and students, develop and implement care plans, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and manage procedures, admissions, discharges, and family meetings. This dynamic setting offers opportunities for involvement in research and quality initiatives across Medical Critical Care, Neuro Critical Care, and Surgical Critical Care. The program includes various educational activities such as grand rounds, teaching rounds, journal club, case conferences, and morbidity and mortality reviews. A desire to be a lifelong learner, teacher, and team player in an interdisciplinary environment is essential.
