About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the world's most innovative companies and play a critical role in shaping the safety and security of Salesforce's most high-profile global events. We are seeking a proven security leader to join our best-in-field Global Event Safety & Security Team. The Senior Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of security operations for Salesforce's flagship events, including Dreamforce, World Tours, executive off-sites, internal events and major third-party forums such as the World Economic Forum in Davos or Cannes Lions. This highly visible role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, vendor management, and the ability to deliver under pressure at complex, fast-paced events.

Qualifications

Due to the extensive global travel required, applicants are strongly encouraged to live near a major airport

  • Minimum 15 years of total security experience. For candidates with a law enforcement, military or other public sector background, a minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in the private sector / corporate security is also required
  • Willingness to travel regionally and globally as required, up to 50% (including weekends)
  • Physical security industry certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Physical Security Professional (PSP), or equivalent
  • Strong collaboration, relationship management, and communication skills, including executive presence
  • Ability to work/cover on-call responsibilities that reflect global timezones, as well as willingness to react to emergencies on a 24/7 basis
  • Experienced in the use of security technology within physical security
  • Strong understanding of international travel risk management and geopolitical risk
  • Manage deliverables independently and with a high degree of efficiency
  • Strong organisational and time management skills and demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous priorities
  • Fluent in English; additional EMEA languages are a plus
  • Strong conflict management and people skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • This position requires a customer service mindset, mission accomplishment attitude, and executive level briefing experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, International Relations, Criminal Justice, or a related field
  • Experience working in a global corporate environment
  • Ability to introduce innovative, customer-focused security solutions
