A leading healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is looking for dedicated Phlebotomists to join their team. This part-time Band 2 role involves taking blood samples from patients in various departments, ensuring adherence to infection control policies, and maintaining sterile work environments. Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred, but training is available for those starting their careers. The position requires weekend availability and may involve travel between hospital sites.

You will work across a range of areas — including Phlebotomy, Outpatients and Ward In‑Patient services — at both Bedford Hospital and Gilbert Hitchcock House. As an integral member of our team, you will support essential diagnostic services and contribute to the delivery of high‑quality patient care. Whether you are experienced or just starting your career, we offer comprehensive in‑house training to help you develop the skills needed to succeed in this important role. You will be expected to follow all Trust infection prevention and control policies, including hand hygiene, personal hygiene, and environmental and food hygiene, and to complete all required infection‑control training.
Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred.
