Overview

Perform phlebotomy and other duties within the laboratory supporting other staff within the team whilst providing optimum patient care. We are currently looking for Phlebotomists to work at our site in Hospital of St Cross in Rugby. We are looking to increase access our services for patients, and are therefore looking to introduce both In-patient and Out-Patient services across 7 days. Applicants will be expected to work shift patterns to support these services going forwards, including early, late, weekend and Bank Holiday shifts. We are looking for some keen and flexible individuals to be trained to a high level to become Phlebotomists within our team. The role will require a full UK driving licence as you may be asked to work on other sites and transfer items between them, although a main base site will be identified. Full and Part time positions are available - full flexibility is a must and successful applicants will be expected to work a variety of shifts.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence (may be asked to work on other sites).
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and to support 7-day service delivery.
  • Willingness to be trained to a high level to become a Phlebotomist within the team.
  • Either full-time or part-time positions available; ability to work with minimal supervision as part of a team.
