Job summary

Boots is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to deliver patient-centred service, coach the dispensary team and ensure safe, compliant operation. You’ll triage patients, advise on medicines, and support stock, workflows and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration is required to practice in the UK/Ireland regions.
• Experience or enthusiasm for coaching and leading a dispensary team.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Motivation to improve services for teams, customers and patients.
• Desire to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Ability to use pharmacy software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and products.
• Deliver services as required by the store.
• Coach and inspire the pharmacy team to maintain high standards.
• Assist with triage of patients and distribution of prescription handouts.
• Make legal, safe and ethical decisions in the pharmacy.
• Manage stock replenishment, workload, orders and controlled drugs handling.
