Job summary

Boots is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team and deliver patient-centred service across our community stores. You will triage, provide expert advice on medicines, coach the dispensary team and ensure safe, compliant practice.

You'll work with pharmacy systems, support stock control and contribute to a high standard of care for customers and patients. Training will be provided where needed, with opportunities to progress within Boots.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
• Enjoy coaching and leading a dispensary team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Motivation to improve teams, customers and patients.
• Desire to deliver outstanding patient care.
• Ability to use pharmacy systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and services.
• Deliver store-specific pharmacy services.
• Build relationships and coach the pharmacy team to high standards.
• Assist with patient triage and distribution of prescription handouts.
• Ensure legal, safe, ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
• Manage stock, workload, orders, and handling controlled drugs safely.
