Job summary
Boots is seeking a capable pharmacy professional to provide expert, tailored advice to patients and support the dispensary team. You will contribute to patient care, triage, and operational tasks while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.
The role emphasizes coaching, leadership of the dispensary team, and the use of pharmacy systems to ensure safe, efficient service across our stores.
Qualifications
- Coach and lead a dispensary team to deliver high‑quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills for effective team work and customer service.
- Ability to use pharmacy systems and technology to manage prescriptions and services.
- Registration with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC/PSNI/PSI).
- Experience as Pharmacy Technician with checking capability is a plus, training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and products.
- Deliver services based on store needs.
- Triage patients and distribute prescription handouts.
- Assist with stock replenishment, workload management and handling of controlled drugs.
- Ensure legal, safe and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
