Job summary

Boots Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to deliver outstanding patient-centred service, triage patients, coach the healthcare team and provide expert technical advice on medicines.

You will lead a dispensary team, manage stock, ensure legal and safe decision-making, and support delivery of services across the store.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
• Excited to coach and lead a dispensary team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Motivation to improve patient care and services.
• Desire to deliver outstanding patient care with pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Providing expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and products.
• Delivering services based on store needs and patient care.
• Coaching and inspiring the pharmacy team to high standards of care.
• Triaging patients and handling prescription handouts.
• Ensuring legal, safe and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
• Managing stock and pharmacy operations and handling controlled drugs safely.
